University of Nebraska-Lincoln police ended the search for a man
with a gun on East Campus Thursday afternoon but said an increased
police presence would continue through at least Friday morning.
At 4:38 p.m. Thursday, the lockdown ended and all activities and
classes resumed.
About 90 minutes earlier, a Dental College faculty member called
911 to report seeing a thin black man wearing a black windbreaker,
black fedora and jeans entering the college
