Elmira College men sweep to volleyball victory - Star
The Elmira College men's volleyball team swept State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNYIT) 3-0 Saturday at the Campus Center Gymnasium in Utica.Elmira (10-19, 2-6 United Volleyball Conference) finished with a .369 hitting percentage and had nine team blocks.The Soaring Eagles jumped to an 8-3 lead in the first game, and after SUNYIT came within four at 18-14, Elmira ran off the next four points and eventually prevailed, 25-18.Games two and three were similar, as each was
